Planner 2 - Production Control
We are seeking an experienced Planner 2 to join our Production Control team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient coordination between planning, production, and supply chain functions. You will play a critical role in meeting customer demand while minimizing costs and maximizing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity
- Monitor and analyze production metrics, identifying bottlenecks and recommending process improvements
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and on-time delivery
- Prepare and present production reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards to management
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address demand changes and special requests
- Utilize planning software and systems to track production status and generate scheduling reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and production issues
