Area of Experience
- Computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in software development, with a strong focus on API development and integration.
Other Requirement
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or PHP.
- Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of web services and underlying protocols such as HTTP, SSL, OAuth, and JSON.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain APIs for internal and external use.
- Integrate third-party APIs into existing systems and applications.
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to enhance system functionality and
- user experience.
- Troubleshoot and debug API-related issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
- Ensure security protocols are integrated and maintained within API integration.
- Work closely with project managers to understand integration needs and provide
- feasible solutions.
- Document API development processes, including creating user guides and API
- documentation for internal and external use.
- Conduct API performance tests and optimize as necessary.
