What you'll be doing
- Preparing and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring the accuracy of financial records
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents
- Collaborating with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Providing support to the management team by analysing financial data and providing insights
- Maintaining and updating the company's accounting system and records
- Assisting in the annual audit process and addressing any queries or issues that may arise
What we're looking for
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
