We’re on the lookout for a Specialist, Business Development to join our Marketplace team in Malaysia. This role is based in Kuching and reports directly to the Shops Commercial Lead.
Responsibilities:
- As a Specialist, Business Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth across our marketplace by:
- Leading the execution of strategic sales plans to onboard new vendors to the foodpanda platform.
- Introducing foodpanda’s suite of services and solutions to prospective partners through both in-person and virtual meetings.
- Building and managing a robust sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities through proactive outreach and market research.
- Negotiating and closing high-value deals with key partners across the F&B, FMCG, and retail sectors.
- Ensuring a seamless handover to the Vendor Onboarding team and supporting activation efforts for newly signed accounts.
- Gathering and analyzing market insights to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, and Account Management to ensure exceptional partner experiences.
