Join us to drive our global compute and storage organisation that powers world-class semiconductor design and manufacturing. This is your chance to shape strategy, lead large-scale transformation, and deliver infrastructure that engineers and factories rely on every day.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced infrastructure leader who wants to shape the future of compute and storage services in a global technology organisation. You will lead a broad and business-critical estate spanning Electronic Design Automation (EDA) infrastructure, virtual infrastructure, enterprise systems, and manufacturing systems, with the opportunity to influence strategy, operating model, and long-term service direction.
Based in Japan, you will play a central role in bringing together global standards, regional delivery, and local business requirements to build a scalable, resilient, and high-performing Compute & Storage function.
What You'll Do
As Director of Compute & Storage, you will set the vision and lead the end-to-end strategy for services that are fundamental to engineering, enterprise operations, and manufacturing. You will oversee a diverse and complex infrastructure landscape, ensuring that services are reliable, efficient, scalable, and aligned to business priorities.
You will work closely with IT leadership, engineering teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive service maturity, improve governance, and strengthen operational performance. This role offers the chance to lead through change, develop strong leadership teams, and help define how compute and storage services evolve in support of a global organisation.
Key Responsibilties:
• Lead the strategy, execution, and governance of Compute & Storage services across EDA/HPC infrastructure, virtual infrastructure, enterprise platforms, and manufacturing environments.
• Shape a clear and sustainable operating model that supports global consistency while meeting regional and local business needs.
• Oversee architecture, service operations, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement across the Compute & Storage domain.
• Lead the transition and ongoing development of the EDA/HPC infrastructure domain, ensuring strong alignment with business priorities and global infrastructure strategy.
• Build, coach, and develop senior leaders across key service areas, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Infrastructure, Information Systems, and engineering teams to align investment, priorities, and service outcomes.
