- Responsible for new product quality requirement, PQE function.
- Ensure products manufactured meet Customer requirements.
- Responsible for Line process control and complaint management. Follow rule : 1-2-14 1.4.
- Develop, review and monitor the effectiveness of quality control procedures and processes, propose and implement improvements where necessary.
- Ensure closed loop of internal and external audit finding include product safety audit.
- Monitor and supervise QMM technician performance to ensure efficiency in quality management process.
- Responsible for process improvement project and update Management on the improvement result.
- Responsible for Quality problem resolution through problem solving sheet PSS/8D.
- Responsible for inspection plan for incoming and outgoing (FQ, VQ).
- Responsible for component first article inspection approval (ISIR) and approval on incoming part inspection plan including cost reduction activities without delay.
- Monitor, report of KPI’s in timely manner and establish action plan.
New Product Introduction
- Responsibility for –Start up projects, warranty, customer complaint, first article approval (ISIR), reliability testing, etc.
- New project product qualification test include fulfill the regulation requirement.
- Actively involves in UX, QG, FMEA, PQP and production line release. Ensure all the QG open point closed within defined due date or latest 3 months after SOP.
- Prepare product test plan, product inspection plan (EP), QZ test plan (QZTI) and FQ/VQ checklist.
- Provide training to QMM test technician on all the related inspection plan and checklist.
- Work with service center to understand the product quality level in the market, at least monthly reporting is expected.
- Coordinate project testing, investigate the failure and ensure close loop of the action implemented. Follow rule of PSS/8D 1-2-14.
- Responsible for part release.
- Ensure all ISIR requirements are fulfill before ISIR released i.e. Cpk > 1.33, PQA sign off, control plan and released critical components supplier qualification process.
- To ensure measurement methodology alignment between PgP2 and supplier during technical discussion with supplier via PQA.
- To ensure all related fixture including incoming inspection, short endurance for VQ/FQ audit, practical tests are ready 2 weeks before pilot.
Operation Support
- Responsible for in process & outgoing product quality performance.
- Responsible for MSA, calibration, concession management, customer complaint management, etc.
- Provide assistance to resolve line FOR issues.
- Support PUQ on supplier incoming material quality issue disposition and 8D verification and evaluation.
- Support cost saving activities and approve alteration change.
- Regular review with production personnel for PQP and FMEA.
- Perform failure analysis on customer – warranty complaint tool and drive for improvement to achieve the agreed target. Target to roll out improvement actions within 3 months after solution is defined.
- Ensure ANDI/CR contents is checked before release and implemented correctly.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure line and process compliances. Expected monthly audit reporting is needed to submit to supervisor and include action plan of manufacturing.
- Conduct Failure Investigation with cross-functional team eg. ENG, PUQ, MSE for non conformance incidents if needed.
- Drive cross functional team for Quality process improvement (e.g. Elimination of inspection, warranty limit).
- Responsible for plant to plant quality complaint management.
- Responsible for product transfer on quality measures between plant.
- Responsible for monthly Product CIP, Process CIP, warranty analysis reporting.
