Position Overview
The In-store Visual Merchandiser is an execution-focused role responsible for implementing, maintaining, and promoting visual merchandising standards in-store. This position requires regular on-site presence, close collaboration with store teams, ensuring effective execution of merchandising standards, and creating an appealing shopping environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Merchandising Standards Implementation & Maintenance (40%)
Execute daily merchandising standards at key Singapore stores to ensure consistent brand image
Adjust and optimize store displays according to headquarters merchandising guidelines
Conduct regular store visits and inspections, promptly correcting any issues identified
Maintain proper use and placement of in-store merchandising fixtures and materials
2. Store Staff Training (35%)
Train store staff on basic merchandising awareness and skills
Develop and implement store merchandising training plans
Track training effectiveness, provide feedback and improvement suggestions
Establish merchandising benchmarks in stores to elevate overall merchandising standards
3. Promotional Display Support (25%)
Support promotional campaigns by executing special display requirements during events
Create themed atmospheric displays (Pop materials, display stacks, etc.) based on campaign themes
Gather store execution feedback and continuously improve merchandising solutions
Requirements
- Industry Experience: 1-2 years of merchandising experience in fast fashion brands (e.g., H&M, ZARA, GAP, Uniqlo) or lifestyle retail
- Execution Skills: Familiar with fast fashion merchandising processes and standards, with hands-on display experience
- Training Ability: Experience training non-professional store staff, able to clearly communicate merchandising key points
- Language: Fluent in English (working language), Mandarin is a plus
- Work Ethic: Able to adapt to on-site working mode, hardworking, with strong sense of responsibility
- Communication: Good communication skills, able to work effectively with store teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous merchandising experience in lifestyle/general merchandise retail stores
- Retail experience in Singapore or Southeast Asia
- Knowledge of Disney and IP cultural product merchandising characteristics
