Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for sourcing, purchasing and monitor delivery.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies, procedures, and specifications.
• To arrange, monitor and co-ordinate both import and export shipment.
• To review, control and monitor stock inventory at an acceptable stock level, to avoid zero stock and excess stock situation.
• To follow up with QA for all the incoming material quality issues.
• Initiate and maintain effective and professional relationship with vendors.
• Structured vendor’s development and competitive procurement price by yearly price comparison for suppliers.
• Make sure reports are well prepared on time for review.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• To undertake additional duties and tasks assigned and assume responsibilities as may be assigned by Head of Department.
Job Requirements
• Possesses a Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent academic discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Meticulous in planning, good communication and problem solving skills.
• Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office, including Words, Excel, and Power Points.
• Ability to prioritize and organize the workload effectively.
• Resourceful, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
