ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and highly organized IP, Podcast & Content Creator to join our team. This role sits at the heart of our brand — responsible for bringing our intellectual property to life across multiple content platforms, building our audience, and establishing our voice as a leading authority in our space.
This is not just a content production role. You will be a strategic partner in shaping how our ideas are packaged, distributed, and monetized — from podcast episodes and social media to long-form written content and video.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PODCAST PRODUCTION & EDITING
- Plan, produce, and edit weekly (or bi-weekly) podcast episodes from recording to final publish
- Manage guest outreach, scheduling, pre-interview research, and run-of-show documents
- Handle all audio/video editing, intro/outro production, music, sound design, and quality control
- Distribute episodes across all major platforms (Spotify, Apple, YouTube, etc.) with optimized titles, descriptions, and show notes
- Track podcast analytics and provide monthly performance reports with growth recommendations
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT
- Develop and execute a social media content strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube
- Repurpose podcast episodes and long-form content into short-form clips, reels, carousels, and audiograms
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and calls to action optimized for each platform
- Manage content scheduling using tools such as Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments, and grow community in alignment with brand voice
WRITTEN CONTENT & BLOGS
- Write high-quality, SEO-optimized blog posts, articles, and thought leadership pieces based on our IP and podcast content
- Draft email newsletters, lead magnets, and digital downloads that extend our content ecosystem
- Maintain a consistent editorial calendar, managing deadlines and content batching
- Collaborate with the founder to convert ideas, frameworks, and methodologies into written IP assets
VIDEO CONTENT
- Edit long-form and short-form video content for YouTube and social platforms
- Create reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts by clipping key moments from podcast recordings and other footage
- Design basic motion graphics, lower thirds, and branded overlays using tools like CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe Premiere
- Ensure all video content is on-brand, captioned, and platform-optimized
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (IP) SUPPORT
- Assist in the development and packaging of IP into digital products, courses, frameworks, or books
- Maintain an organized content library and IP asset vault for all produced materials
- Support the creation of presentation decks, media kits, and brand documents
- Uphold brand guidelines, tone of voice, and visual identity across all content outputs
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in content creation, podcast production, or a related media role
- Proven portfolio demonstrating podcast editing, video editing, and written content across multiple formats
- Proficiency in audio editing software (Adobe Audition, GarageBand, Descript, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent)
- Strong writing skills with an ability to adapt tone and style to match brand voice
- Solid understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and content best practices
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred:
- Experience working with a personal brand, thought leader, or entrepreneur
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (ConvertKit, Mailchimp, Kajabi, or similar)
- Basic graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Suite
- Understanding of SEO principles for written and video content
- Experience with podcast hosting platforms (Buzzsprout, Podbean, Libsyn, Riverside.fm, etc.)
