RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, implement, and manage the health and safety system to ensure compliance with statutory and company regulations and procedures.
- Work closely with all department heads to provide input related to safety, health, and environmental matters.
- Conduct safety briefing/training for all new employees, contractors, vendors & etc.
- Liaise with relevant government authorities and resolve the safety issues arising from the site.
- Conduct periodic safety meetings and audits to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
- To assist during audits, and inspections and maintain all documentation and records.
- To identify potential risks on the construction site and constantly track the safety & health performance under OSHA regulations.
- Responsible for recording and reporting any safety and loss prevention plans, security procedures and accident report.
- Evaluate and analyze any hazardous conditions and recommends remedial and preventive actions.
- Enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) implementation at work site.
- To conduct toolbox meetings.
Qualifications :
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree/ Diploma in Safety and Health or related qualification
- Possess a valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) Competency License registered with DOSH / JKKP (Yellow book)
- Language required: Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin
- Having experience dealing with relevant authorities
