We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our Sales Manager in the trading of engineering products. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales department by managing administrative tasks, coordinating sales activities, and facilitating communication between the sales team, clients, and suppliers. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support:
  • Assist the Sales Manager in preparing sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Maintain and update the customer database (CRM) with accurate and timely information.
  • Track sales orders, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements.
  • Prepare sales reports, including sales performance, pipeline, and market analysis.
  1. Coordination and Communication:
  • Act as a liaison between the sales team, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and resolve any issues.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance, and operations) to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
  • Schedule and organize sales meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  1. Administrative Duties:
  • Handle incoming inquiries from clients and direct them to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain and organize sales-related documents, including contracts, invoices, and product specifications.
  1. Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  1. Market Research:
  • Assist in researching market trends, competitor activities, and potential new clients.
  • Support the Sales Manager in identifying new business opportunities and developing sales strategies.
  1. Ad Hoc Tasks:
  • Assist with any ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably in the engineering, manufacturing, or trading industry.
  • Familiarity with engineering products or technical knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
