Graphic Designer Textile & Digital Content Executive

My-Sutera Sdn. Bhd.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Product & Textile Design

  • Develop original patterns, prints, motifs, and design concepts for garments, hijabs, scarves, and related textile products.
  • Prepare design proposals, mock-ups, and presentation visuals for internal review and approval.
  • Translate brand direction, product themes, and market trends into commercially viable designs.
  • Adapt artwork and patterns into production-ready files where required.
  • Work closely with management, production, and merchandising teams to ensure designs are aligned with product strategy and manufacturing requirements.

B. Branding & Creative Design

  • Design creative materials for branding, campaigns, promotions, events, packaging, catalogues, and other corporate or product-related use.
  • Ensure consistency in visual identity across all online and offline materials.
  • Support the creation of corporate presentation materials, proposals, flyers, posters, and digital assets.

C. Marketing & Social Media Support

  • Develop visual content for social media platforms, digital campaigns, and online promotions.
  • Assist in planning and producing engaging content aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Support basic copy ideation, campaign visuals, and content layout for social media and digital channels.
  • Monitor design and content trends relevant to fashion, retail, lifestyle, and Muslimah markets where applicable.

D. AI-Enabled Workflow & Productivity

  • Use AI tools, including ChatGPT and other approved tools, to improve design ideation, content generation, campaign planning, workflow efficiency, and internal productivity.
  • Support the team in applying AI-assisted methods for faster turnaround of creative and marketing tasks.
  • Maintain good judgment in using AI to support, not replace, originality, brand alignment, and commercial quality.

E. Coordination & Execution

  • Manage multiple creative tasks and deadlines in a lean operating environment.
  • Maintain organized design files, templates, and content assets.
  • Coordinate revisions and feedback efficiently with relevant stakeholders.
  • Undertake other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Textile Design, Fashion Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant working experience in graphic design, textile/fashion design, or related creative field.
  • Proven experience in designing patterns/prints for garments, hijabs, scarves, or related products is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in digital marketing or social media content creation is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong capability in layout design, pattern design, colour coordination, and visual storytelling.
  • Familiarity with social media design formats and digital content requirements.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT is a must.
  • Knowledge of video editing or motion graphics is an added advantage.
