Position Overview

Although the recruitment process is conducted by our organisation, the successful candidate will be formally employed under our sister company, SPD URBAN VENTURES SDN. BHD.

We are seeking an experienced Account & Finance Manager to join our property development team. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide strategic insights to support the company’s growth and project success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts for property development projects.
  • Monitor cash flow, project financing, and investment returns.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and tax regulations.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
  • Provide financial analysis to support feasibility studies and project planning.
  • Advise management on financial risks, opportunities, and cost optimization.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, implementing best practices in financial processes and internal controls.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in property development or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of MFRS, tax laws, and project financing.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (AutoCount, MHub & IFCA).
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
