Business Development helps drive our corporate sales and revenue. Your major duties will include assisting in market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work with various departments and report to a supervisor.
The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized, and motivated to help in increasing sales, enhance the agency's reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our services.
When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:
- Assist in researching organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
- Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Involve in planning discussion and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
When it comes to the challenge of actually selling, other typical duties include:
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
- Liaise with clients to inform them about new developments of our services
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Degree / Diploma in any field, preferably Business Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or any related field
You must be disciplined, consistent, persistent, friendly, and extroverted. A go-getter towards achieving your target. Well-versed in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
