Core Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
• Full set accounts review (AP, AR, GL)
• Monthly / quarterly / yearly closing
• Financial statement preparation (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Ensure compliance with MFRS / IFRS
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Cash flow management
• Variance analysis (budget vs actual)
• Cost control & profitability analysis
• Liase with banker
Compliance & Audit
• Coordinate external audit
• Ensure tax compliance with LHDN
• Internal control system setup
• Risk management support
Team Management
• Supervise accounting team (execs / seniors）
• Review work of subordinates
• Train and develop finance staff
Business Partner Role
• Support management decision making
• Provide financial insights to Director
• Involved in business strategy discussions
System & Reporting
• AutoCount
• Management reporting dashboards
Education Requirement
• Degree in Accounting / Finance / ACCA / CPA/ CIMA/ ICAEW
Strong preference in:
• Finance Manager roles
• Listed companies
• IPO preparation companies
Experience Requirement
• 8-15 years accounting/finance experience
