Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Quantity Surveyor who is capable of managing the full spectrum of QS functions independently. This role requires a high level of autonomy, as you will be responsible for the entire submission process and contractual management at the site level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Set Submissions: Manage the complete cycle of documentation, including progress claims, Variation Orders (VO), and Final Accounts.
- Contractual Claims: Independently prepare and submit Extension of Time (EOT), Loss and Expense (L&E) claims, and other contractual justifications.
- Independent Management: Take full ownership of all site-related commercial documents without requiring close supervision.
- Liaison: Act as the sole commercial representative for the company in all dealings with the Main Contractor and Consultants regarding site measurements, valuations, and site records.
- Cost Control: Monitor and analyze project costs, ensuring all submissions are accurate and submitted within the contractual deadlines.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Site QS roles (Infrastructure/Civil works preferred).
- Proven knowledge and experience in full-set submission documents.
- Must have practical experience in drafting and submitting EOT and contractual letters.
- Ability to work individually and lead the site’s commercial function effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills and deep understanding of construction law/contract forms.
