ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Social Media Manager is responsible for generating unique and engaging content (text and video) to share with followers, as well as managing posts and responding to the queries or comments of followers on social media platforms. You will assist in cohesively managing our client's image in order to achieve marketing goals.
You are expected to remain current on social media and online/digital trends and technologies. Your communication skills should be excellent, meaning you can communicate our client's views creatively and innovatively. You should manage our clients social media with a goal of customer engagement and high levels of web traffic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and QC visual production for content calendars, social copy, social media ads and community management.
- Create strategies for upcoming campaigns and always-on execution for potential and existing brands.
- Advise, nurture and train team members in becoming best in class social media strategists and content creators.
- Actively contribute solutions to improve processes and practices.
- Identify social KPIs and metrics.
- Ensure timely development and execution of plan, campaigns and projects.
- Research current trends in benchmark and audience preferences.
- Remain current on popular technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proven work experience in Social Media in an agency or client.
- Hands-on experience in content creation and client management.
- Excellent skills in the following areas:
- Copywriting
- Communication
- Analysis
- Multi-tasking
- Ability to deliver creative social media content (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of all social media channels and online marketing tools.
