About the Company
We are a fast-growing integrated environmental services company specialising in pest control, hygiene and environmental services across Malaysia. In line with our business expansion, we are seeking a Finance / Accounts Manager to oversee our finance operations, ensure strong financial governance, and support management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities;
Financial Management & Reporting
• Oversee full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets and cash flow
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and analysis
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing
• Monitor profitability by business segment (pest control, hygiene & desludging)
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow
• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections
• Monitor operating costs, fleet expenses and manpower costs
• Manage working capital, credit control and debt collection effectiveness
Credit Control & Risk Management
• Review customer credit limits, credit terms and CTOS reports
• Oversee debt collection, bad debt provisions and legal recovery processes
• Work closely with Sales and Operations on overdue accounts and disputes
Tax, Compliance & Audit
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory requirements:
• SST, Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax
• LHDN E-Invoicing requirements
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and company secretary
• Prepare audit schedules and statutory submissions
Internal Control & Process Improvement
• Establish and improve finance SOPs, policies and internal controls
• Support contract review from a financial and risk perspective
• Implement system improvements for accounting and reporting efficiency
Team Leadership
• Lead, coach and supervise finance/accounts staff
• Set KPIs and ensure performance standards are met
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / CIMA / MICPA) is an advantage
• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant working experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
• Experience in services-based industries (pest control, facilities management, environmental services, logistics, or similar) is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g. SQL, AutoCount, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills
