Job Summary:
We are a well-established corrugated carton manufacturing company looking for a dynamic and hands-on Operation Manager / Deputy Operation Manager to oversee and enhance our production, logistics, and QA operations. This leadership role is pivotal to ensuring operational efficiency, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across Production, QA, Art, and PMW departments.
- Plan, monitor, and enhance production processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and output.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, ensuring implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor & Coordinate production schedules, in-house stock levels, and timely delivery of goods.
- Supervise and ensure accuracy in inventory and material stock management.
- Maintain close collaboration with QA to uphold product quality and compliance with customer requirements and ISO 9001 standards.
- Liaise with Sales & Marketing teams to align production with customer demands and order fulfillment.
- Source and manage third-party service providers and vendors.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement programs (Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing).
- Ensure departmental compliance with QMS, legal regulations, and safety standards.
- Lead, train, and evaluate operational teams to build a performance-driven culture.
- Prepare operational reports and provide strategic recommendations to upper management.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven leadership skills in managing multi-department operations and teams.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, quality assurance procedures, and compliance obligations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP systems, and digital tools like Zoom.
- Knowledge of production software systems and lean methodologies is an added advantage.
