Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science, a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a multi-disciplinary clinical laboratory, with proven expertise in Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Pathology, and other related disciplines.
- Willingness and ability to work on rotating shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and on-call duties as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests in strict accordance with established procedures and standards as outlined by the Laboratory Accreditation requirements.
- Analyze technical issues related to specimen adequacy, laboratory data, and instrumentation; identify root causes and resolve problems in compliance with relevant guidelines and procedures.
- Review and monitor laboratory processes to ensure high-quality results, and implement appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as necessary.
- Ensure all laboratory instruments are maintained in optimal working condition by monitoring adherence to the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
