Job Description:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our preschool-aged children. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and desires to contribute positively to their early learning experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Support children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Supervise children during playtime, mealtime, and outdoor activities
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Be in-charge of children's toileting and diaper changing.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions
Requirements:
- Early childhood certification preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
