JOB PURPOSE
MARDICorp is seeking an experienced and highly capable Manager – Finance & Procurement to lead the company’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and procurement activities. This role ensures strong financial governance, transparent procurement practices, and effective support for strategic decision-making across the organisation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance Unit
- Financial Operations & Reporting: Handles monthly/quarterly reporting, budget, cash flow, and A/R & A/P.
- Accounting & Compliance: Manages full set accounts, closing, consolidation, and regulatory compliance.
- Document Review & Controls: Approves PV, PO, forms, and project papers per authority limits.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Monitors budget, variances, forecasts, and provides financial insights.
- Project Costing & Strategy: Reviews costing, controls expenses, and supports financial decisions.
- Internal Controls & Risk: Strengthens processes, controls, and risk management.
- Tax, SST & Stakeholder Liaison: Oversees tax, SST compliance, and liaises with key stakeholders.
Procurement Unit
- Procurement Management: Leads full procurement process per SOP and approval limits.
- Document Review & Approvals: Approves PR, PO, tenders, and contracts with complete documentation.
- Vendor & Compliance Oversight: Manages vendor sourcing, performance, pricing compliance and MACC Act 17A risks.
- Records & Audit Readiness: Maintains supplier records, contracts, and ensures audit-ready documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :
- Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance, Business Studies, Economics, Governance, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in finance and/or auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
- Experience in GLC/GLCS is strongly preferred; exposure to ESG audits is an added advantage.
- At least 2 years’ leadership experience in governance, compliance, or procurement-related functions.
- Strong commitment to transparency and full compliance with financial and procurement policies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive financial improvement
