Responsibilities
- Manage the creation, review, approval, issuance, revision, and archival of controlled documents in accordance with the company’s document control procedures.
- Maintain document control systems for engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, SOPs, quality records, and customer documents.
- Coordinate document preparation for RFQ and sourcing activities, ensuring sensitive customer identifiers, logos, part numbers, and proprietary references are removed or controlled prior to circulation.
- Ensure that only the latest approved and correctly sanitized document revisions are released and accessible at points of use.
- Coordinate document change requests and ensure timely updates following engineering changes, process changes, or customer updates.
- Maintain full document traceability, revision history, and release status records.
- Support NPI programs by ensuring timely release and control of new and revised documentation.
- Assist in managing document requirements in support of quality systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, or customer-specific standards.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing, retrieving, and presenting controlled documents and records.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure document accuracy, confidentiality, and completeness.
- Ensure proper retention, storage, and disposal of documents and records in accordance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Business Administration, Information Management, or a or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in document control, quality administration, or technical documentation roles within manufacturing or engineering environments.
- Experience in semiconductor, EMS, or high-mix low-volume manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ISO-based quality management systems and document control requirements.
- Experience handling engineering drawings and controlled technical documents is preferred.
