Responsibilities:
- Perform quantity take-off, cost estimation, and preparation of project budgets and cost plans
- Monitor, control, and record material usage and project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients
- Prepare and certify subcontractors’ interim payment certificates
- Evaluate variation orders (VOs) and prepare supporting documentation
- Prepare and manage project final accounts, including negotiation and settlement with relevant parties
- Compile quotations, conduct price comparisons, and support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
- Attend site meetings, joint measurements, and site valuations for subcontractor certifications
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams on contractual and commercial matters
- Monitor project budgets, identify potential cost overruns, and propose mitigation measures
- Participate in the tendering process, including preparation of cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender clarifications
Requirements:
- Past experience as contract manager, QS or relevant role.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration
- Experience in claims management, cost control, and dispute resolution.
