Responsible in maintaining the KTSB HSE Management System (HSEMS) & Quality Management System (QMS) and to ensure successful implementation of the HSEQ Plan.
Key Accountabilities:
1)Policy Development and implementation
· Assist in development and manage implementation and maintaining HSEQ policies focusing on
environment and sustainable development in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry
best practices.
· Ensure effective communication and understanding of policies across all levels of the organisation.
2)Compliance and auditing
· Conduct periodic environmental monitoring and compliance audit as per the Environmental Impact
Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP)
· Conduct regular audits and assessments for environmental management to ensure compliance with
Environmental regulations and HSEQ standards.
· Stay abreast of changes in regulations and standards and update organizational practices accordingly.
3)Risk Assessment and management
· Identify and assess Environmental aspect and impact in the workplace.
· Develop and implement risk management programs to mitigate and control identified risks.
4)Training and development
· Plan and deliver HSEQ training programs related to environment and sustainable development to
educate employees and contractors on policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Foster a culture of environment and sustainable development awareness, continuous learning and
improvement in HSEQ matters.
5)Sustainability Development
· Coordinate implementation of Sustainability Plan initiatives and follow up status. For monthly
sustainability reporting
· Initiate Sustainable Development program for the company towards Net Zero target
· Manage Environment and Sustainability performance reporting to internal and external parties.
· Manage audit tracking to cover all important internal and external audit items for environment and
sustainability area.
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Training/Knowledge:
· Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health / Environmental Management /
Engineering or other related technical fields with one (1) years of working experience (preferably in the
oil, gas, or petrochemical industry).
· Possesses excellent oral and written skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, adapt at preparing
technical documents.
· A competency qualification or certificate in Environmental Management system and a registered SHO
is an added advantage.
