Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Event & Exhibition Executive to join our Elite team. Work Location: Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm

Salary: High monthly basic salary + Allowance + Commission

Other Benefits: Performance bonus, annual bonus, parking, insurance

Job Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain positive client relationships to foster potential business opportunities.
  • Driving sales target achievement, leveraging marketing support and ensure project success through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Sales implementation, strategy, and management.
  • Collaborate with clients on exhibition requirements and marketing collaterals.
  • Project execution during exhibitions such as handling and coordinate with vendors, suppliers and other related parties.
  • Ensure effective implementation and coordination of duties internally amongst departments.
  • To study and understand market trends & competitors’ directions and ensure the exhibitions, events & marketing campaigns are abreast to market needs and change.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing Communications, Advertising, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Prior experience in event / exhibition / tradeshow project management or any related industry will be added advantage
  • Leadership attributes, highly independent & self-motivated, commitment, professionalism, and result oriented.
  • Possess problem-solving skills, detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Pragmatic, meticulous, and multitasker
  • Proficiency in English, BM and Mandarin/Cantonese. Mandarin literacy is preferred due to exposure to Mandarin-speaking international exhibitors and delegates.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel outstation / overseas.
  • Knowledge of beauty & jewellery sectors will be an added advantage.
