Position Title: Warehouse Manager – Wholesale & Victualing

Location: Kuala Belait.

Summary:

Responsible for managing warehouse operations for wholesale and victualing business, ensuring efficient stock handling, storage, and dispatch. The role will also oversee logistics coordination, while maintaining strict control over inventory accuracy and operational processes. 

Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management 

• Manage day-to-day warehouse activities (receiving, storage, picking, dispatch) 
• Ensure proper layout, space utilization, and stock organization 
• Maintain warehouse discipline, safety, and cleanliness 

1. Inventory Control 

• Ensure accurate stock records and system updates 
• Monitor stock movement and minimize losses, damages, and discrepancies 
• Conduct regular stock checks and coordinate with finance for reconciliation. 

1. Dispatch & Order Fulfillment 

• Ensure timely and accurate order picking and dispatch 
• Coordinate with sales/divisions for order planning 
• Avoid delays, shortages, and dispatch errors 

1. Coordination 

• Plan and supervise delivery schedules and vehicle utilization 
• Coordinate route planning for efficient distribution 
• Monitor delivery performance and resolve operational issues 
• Work with procurement for inward planning and stock availability 
• Coordinate with divisional managers for order execution 
• Support finance for stock verification and reporting 

1. Process & Control Implementation 

• Implement standard procedures for: 
• Goods receipt 
• Storage and bin management 
• Dispatch and documentation 
• Ensure proper authorization and documentation for all stock movements.

1. Team Management 

• Supervise warehouse and logistics staff 
• Allocate duties and monitor productivity 
• Ensure discipline and accountability of staff 
• Ensure the Daily attendance 

1. Reporting 

• Provide regular reports on: 
• Stock status
• Dispatch performance 
• Inventory discrepancies 
• Highlight operational issues and improvement areas 

Requirements:

• 8 to 10 years’ experience in warehouse / distribution / FMCG operations 
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and logistics 
• Experience handling warehouse teams and dispatch operations 
• Strong control and process-oriented mindset 
• Stock accountability, Leadership & Reporting Skills 
• Experience in FIFO, Bin Management, Zoning, Batch Picking, Wave Picking Techniques. 
• Experience in inventory control technique such as cycle counting, stock reconciliation, Material handling optimization.
