Position Overview
Responsible for leading the Quality Assurance function to ensure all products meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards. Oversees quality systems, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with ISO & IATF standards and regulatory requirements
- Lead internal and external audits, including customer audits
- Handle customer complaints and implement corrective & preventive actions (8D)
- Monitor quality performance (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement
- Manage incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities
- Work closely with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality issues
- Lead and train QA/QC team members
- Oversee documentation control and quality records
- Support new product development and process validation
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Quality Management or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in QA/QC, with at least 2 years in managerial role
- Experience in manufacturing environment (preferably metal, fasteners, or machining industry)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 & IATF16949 and quality tools (e.g., 7 QC tools, FMEA, SPC)
- Experience in handling audits and customer complaints
- Good leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is an added advantage
- Good at Excel and Power point skills
