The QC Inspector shall fulfil at least the following requirement:
(a) At least five (5) years of proven experience in welding inspection within oil & gas industry, particularly in carbon steel pipeline;
(b) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) by AWS or CSWIP 3.1;
(c) Preferably with ISO 9712 NDE Level II or ASNT Level II;
(d) Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques, including:
Material inspection
Welding inspection
Assembly inspection
(e) Good communication skills, impartial, and ability to work under pressure;
(f) Familiar with industry standards for oil & gas pipelines, such as:
AS2885
ASME B31.3
ASME Section VIII
API 1104
