We are looking for a Research Assistant to contribute to a research project on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting research on AI-mediated communication in mental health contexts.

  • Contribute to publications in top-tier HCI journals, communication, and interdisciplinary venues

  • Collaborate with students and interdisciplinary team members and build partnerships with external stakeholders such as community organisations and/or industry.

  • Support lab development, including organising research activities, managing projects, and contributing to grant proposals.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, or a related field.

  • At least 1 year of relevant experiences in doing research in a relevant field.

  • Familiarity with social science theories, HCI, digital well-being, or mental health.

  • Good written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficiency in quantitative/statistical analysis and computational techniques.
