Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping of goods
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators to optimise warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate with production, sales and procurement teams to align inventory levels with customer demand
- Supervise and train warehouse staff to maintain high standards of productivity, safety and customer service
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Prepare detailed reports and analysis to support strategic decision-making
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar warehouse or inventory management role, preferably in the steel & heavy manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory control techniques and supply chain operations
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
