Role Purpose:
We are looking for a General Practitioner (GP) with experience or a special interest in Women and child Health to provide outpatient services in our private day clinic, focusing on high-quality and efficient women’s health care, including consultations, diagnostics, and screening services, with emphasis on timely diagnosis, appropriate management and patient education
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide general primary care consultations for adult patients within a clinic-based OPD setting.
· Conduct outpatient consultations for gynecological and obstetric conditions
· Manage common women’s health conditions including menstrual disorders, PCOS, infections, menopausal concerns, fertility concerns and low-risk pregnancy care
· Provide antenatal and postnatal care for low-risk patients
· Perform diagnostic and screening services such as Pap smears, pelvic examinations, clinical breast examinations and antenatal laboratory screening.
· Conduct basic gynecological ultrasound examinations, where certified and authorised
· Provide family planning, contraception, fertility, and menopause counseling
· Identify high-risk or complex cases and refer to specialist consultants
· Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation
· Comply with clinic policies, licensing requirements, and quality standards
Qualifications & Requirements:
· MBBS / MD / MBBCh or equivalent
· Eligible for registration with the Brunei Medical Board (BMB)
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in primary care, family medicine, or women and child health
Added Advantage:
· Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (DGO)
· GP / Family Medicine qualification (MRCGP, MICGP, FRACGP, FACRRM, DABFM)
· Experience in antenatal OPD and family planning services
