Job Description
- Assist in sourcing and selecting suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Follow up with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery dates, and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain and update the purchasing database and records (e.g., supplier information, pricing, delivery schedules)
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and escalate delays or issues when necessary
Job Requirement
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required when dealing with supplier
- Able to communicate using basic English and Bahasa Melayu
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision
- Self-motivated & independence
