Responsibilities:
- Manage a full set of accounts.
- Maintain the general ledger and perform financial reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Support the Accounts Manager by compiling data and preparing invoices, payment vouchers, debit notes, credit notes, receipts, claims, e-invoicing and SST submission.
- Assisting Accounts Manager with audit reporting and documentation.
Requirements:
- A relevant diploma or bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, or a related field
- A solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, preferably on property development and investment holding.
- Proficiency with Accounting Software (Advelsoft PSS & PMS), Microsoft Office, HIMS, MyTax, MySST, STAMPS etc.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good verbal communication skills.
- The ability to resolve payment-related issues and handle administrative tasks effectively.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting work and administration works are required for this position.
- Good written and verbal communication skills (English and Bahasa Malaysia). Ability to command in Mandarin and/or Chinese dialect will be an added benefit.
- Knowledge in e-invoicing and SST submission.
- Strong analytical and accounts management skills and detail oriented.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge in Malaysia Taxation will be an added benefit.
