About the role
We are seeking an Accounts Executive to join the finance team at Target Fashion Sdn Bhd, a leading fashion retailer based in Kuala Lumpur. As an Accounts Executive, you will play a key role in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring accurate and timely accounting processes. This is a full-time position based in our Kuala Lumpur office.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and processing accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconciling bank statements and maintaining the general ledger
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
- Providing support to the finance team in various accounting-related tasks
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Collaborating with other departments to provide financial information and analysis
- Maintaining accurate and organised financial records
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounts or finance role, preferably in the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
