Tech Instructor (Urgent Hiring)

QT Kidz Sdn Bhd is an established coding academy, as an official Digital Maker Hub awarded by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), with the primary objective to enhance digital transformation in Malaysia and nurture digital talent by introducing programming-related classes and activities to the younger generation. Currently, we are operating 2 centres in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan State.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Seremban for Tech Instructor. The Tech Instructor will be responsible for conducting daily training, developing and implementing training programs, training analysis and delivering presentations. This role will also involve collaborating with schools, organising events to enhance students' skills and knowledge.

Job Scopes:

1. Deliver online and physical coding lessons effectively and prepare the necessary material according to the planned schedule.
2. Motivate students to learn creatively during the lessons.
3. Coaching and mentoring students in their regular classes and competitions.
4. Consult and manage enquiries from parents.
5. Conduct classes at the location assigned by management
6. Conduct research and development to deliver new course programs or projects.
7. Take part in marketing events planned by the company.
8. Building good relationships with students and parents
9. Handle the administrative work assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in IT, Engineering, Education or related field.
2. Candidate must be able to work in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan
3. Candidate must be able to work full-time on Saturday and Sunday
4. Candidate must be fluent in English. The ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
5. Candidate with experience in Python / Micro: bit or Arduino / Game development / 3D Design skills will be an added advantage.
6. Experience in developing and delivering training programs will be an added advantage.
7. Computer literacy, strong Presentation and good interpersonal skills.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
9. Energetic and passionate in teaching.
10. A good team player actively promotes trust and openness.
11. Self-motivated and can work independently
12. Training on coding will be provided.
