Senior Production Engineer / Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES:

Main duties

1. As a Technical Controller’s representative in charged for Project Planning in term of moulds, machinery and manpower;
2. Plan for mould set up in production line to ensure that production bays meet the daily/ monthly targeted volume;
3. Liaise with the design team for shop drawing approvals;
4. Interpret drawings and solving discrepancies with Design team;
5. To issue daily planning schedules to General clerk to be uploaded in ERP system and issue to Production Team;
6. Arrange / purchase of material for production of precast components;
7. Plan monthly/ weekly production and delivery schedule, material ordering, manpower and machinery arrangement;
8. Prepare and maintain all production and inventory records to ensure sufficient buildup of stock as per Project’s requirement;
9. Carry out pre-pour and post-pour inspections;
10. Close and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions;
11. Analyze root causes of quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions;
12. Investigate and correct any discrepancies between physical stock and system records;
13. Monitor and ensure the materials wastage are within the targets;
14. Attend and solve Client’s complaints;
15. Monthly site visits or as when it is required for defects highlighted by Clients;
16. Brief Production & Mould team on the site defects and submit reports on correction actions take;
17. Attend all EHS walkabout, inspection, meetings and contribute to a safe working condition / environment;
18. Perform any other tasks which may be assigned by management from time to time;
19. For senior post, he/she should be good in leadership and mentorship.

RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Concrete Precast manufacturing Industry
2. Minimum with Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
3. Computer literate, preferable in Microsoft Office applications or equivalent
