What you'll do
- Design and develop high-quality backend solutions for the company’s flagship Field Service Management platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, configurability, and long-term maintainability.
- Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures, enabling seamless integration across distributed systems and product modules.
- Collaborate within cross-functional agile product teams, actively participating in technical discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement practices.
- Work closely with product managers and functional analysts to shape solutions that align technical design with real-world operational and business requirements.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Strong experience with Java and backend development ecosystems (Jakarta EE, JPA, REST APIs)
- Passion for domain modeling and clean business logic design
- Proficiency with Git-based development workflows
- Experience with SQL databases and data modeling
- Experience writing automated tests (unit/integration)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and coding assistants
- Familiarity with asynchronous and event-driven architectures
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English (B2+)
What’s nice to have
- Experience with cloud-native architectures
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience with messaging and event-streaming systems (Kafka, SQS/SNS, etc.)
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.)
