We are seeking a talented software development engineer II to join the Alexa Endpoints team, where you'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining the Alexa mobile application experience. This position focuses on developing and enhancing the software that enables seamless interaction between mobile clients and backend AI agents, delivering intelligent voice and conversational experiences to millions of users worldwide.
As an SDE-2 you'll work at the intersection of mobile development and AI-powered services, contributing to the evolution of Alexa's presence. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions, optimise performance, and ensure robust integration between mobile platforms and cloud-based AI services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the Alexa mobile capabilities that facilitate communication between iOS/Android applications and backend AI agents.
- Implement robust APIs and interfaces that enable seamless integration of Alexa capabilities into mobile applications.
Backend Integration And Service Development
