Role Overview:

As a Frontend Engineer at Gullak , you’ll help build the next generation of digital gold infrastructure for India. The role focuses on crafting high-quality, scalable mobile experiences using React Native while working closely with the founding and engineering teams in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll be responsible for building and shipping performant cross-platform mobile applications, creating pixel-perfect user interfaces, and solving complex product and engineering challenges end-to-end. The role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and a deep focus on user experience and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

As a Frontend Engineer, you will work closely with the Tech Leadership and lead end-to-end development. We’re looking for people who:

• Design and implement large-scale mobile applications using React Native in a fast-paced environment
• Build pixel-perfect UIs across both mobile platforms
• Optimize performance bottlenecks to deliver experiences on par with native applications
• Set up development best practices and drive their adoption
• Have a sharp eye for detail and obsess over implementation quality
• Mentor young engineers and help build a strong team

What are We Looking For?

• 0-3 years of experience building mobile applications
• Proficient with React Native/React with a minimum of 1 year of experience
• Experience in developing and delivering large-scale Android and iOS mobile applications via React-Native
• Engineers who are obsessed with optimizations and are ready to go the extra mile to deliver the best app experience to the customers
• Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and Typescript(optional)
• Good knowledge of monitoring and tracking down app crashes and bugs using advanced tools
• Worked in a startup environment with high levels of ownership and commitment
• A growth mindset and passion about building things from the ground up, and most importantly, you should be fun to work with
