About the Role
We are looking for Backend Engineers with 1–3 years of experience to help architect and scale the core systems that power our AI training and evaluation platforms.
You will work on designing high-performance backend services, scalable APIs, distributed workflows, and data-intensive systems that support large-scale AI operations.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving deep backend and infrastructure challenges while working in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python
- Develop APIs and microservices supporting AI training, evaluation, and data workflows
- Optimize large-scale data pipelines and backend infrastructure for performance and reliability
- Improve system scalability, latency, fault tolerance, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate closely with ML engineers, product teams, and operations teams to ship reliable systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-quality code
- Monitor production environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of backend engineering experience
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals
- Experience building REST APIs and backend services
- Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Understanding of distributed systems and scalability concepts
- Experience using Git and modern development workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
- Exposure to distributed messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience working with data pipelines or large-scale datasets
- Basic understanding of AI/ML infrastructure and workflows
