About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated React Native Developer to join our team full-time at our Bengaluru office. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our production mobile application, which comprises over 100 screens, a custom design system, dual analytics pipelines, and a robust Firebase backend integrated with REST APIs. This position offers an opportunity to work on a high-ownership level, taking feature requests from conception through to deployment, designing solutions, implementing code, and ensuring seamless end-to-end functionality. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of professional experience developing and deploying React Native applications. A strong understanding of the native mobile ecosystem, including proficiency with Xcode and Android Studio, is essential. Candidates should have solid experience with Redux, state persistence, and real-time data handling using Firestore listeners. Experience working with TypeScript in large-scale codebases, along with familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to enhance productivity, is highly desirable. The ability to adapt quickly to evolving requirements and to independently identify and address development needs is crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
As a React Native Developer at CashBook, your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining features within the mobile application using React Native, TypeScript, Expo, and related libraries.
- Collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements into functional features.
- Ensuring the app's performance, responsiveness, and stability across both iOS and Android platforms.
- Integrating third-party services such as payment gateways (CashFree), analytics (Amplitude, Firebase Analytics), and crash reporting (Sentry).
- Implementing role-based access controls and managing multi-business support within the app.
- Contributing to the development of animations, performance optimization, and user interface enhancements using tools like Reanimated and Lottie.
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and deploying updates through CI/CD pipelines such as Fastlane and GitHub Actions.
- Proactively identifying bugs and issues, providing solutions, and improving overall user experience.
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends and integrating modern workflows, including AI-assisted coding and development practices.
