Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a DevOps Engineer, located in Navi Mumbai.
What You’ll Do
Own Cloud Infrastructure
- Design, provision, and maintain multi‑region AWS and GCP environments using Terraform and Helm.
- Optimise cost, performance, and scalability for high‑traffic AI/IoT platforms.
CI/CD & Release Automation
- Evolve our GitLab pipelines to achieve true trunk‑based, “push‑to‑prod” workflows with automated testing, security scans, and blue‑green deployments.
- Champion immutable builds and container security best practices.
Observability & Incident Response
- Implement end‑to‑end monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and alerting via PagerDuty.
- Lead post‑incident reviews; drive MTTR down through runbook automation and chaos testing.
Security & Compliance
- Embed shift‑left security (SAST, DAST, IaC scanning) into pipelines.
- Partner with our SOC2 team to maintain least‑privilege IAM, secret rotation, and audit trails.
Collaboration & Culture
- Sit shoulder‑to‑shoulder with developers, QA, and product to bake reliability into every user story.
- Mentor junior engineers in infrastructure‑as‑code, Kubernetes, and site‑reliability principles.
Qualifications
- 4+ years running production workloads on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong IaC (Terraform or Pulumi) and Kubernetes knowledge (EKS/GKE preferred)
- Proven GitLab or GitHub Actions CI/CD automation experience
- Deep understanding of Linux internals, networking, and container runtime security
- Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go for automation and tooling
- Hands‑on with observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/Loki)
Nice to have
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or edge computing workloads
- SOC 2 or HIPAA compliance experience
- Chaos engineering practice (Gremlin, Litmus, or similar)
- Cost optimization track record (FinOps)
