JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Engineer with 4–5+ years of strong hands-on Python experience, focusing on API development, software design, and scalable backend systems. The candidate should have solid fundamentals in Python frameworks, databases, REST APIs, and system design, with exposure to cloud and performance optimisation.
Python backend development (4–5+ years) with strong hands-on coding & design skills
Python frameworks: FastAPI / Flask / Django
Strong understanding of:
SQL Databases: PostgreSQL / MySQL
ORM tools: SQLAlchemy / Django ORM
Writing clean, modular, reusable code
Unit testing & TDD using PyTest / unittest
Code quality practices:
API security: authentication & authorization
Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
Experience building RESTful APIs and Microservices
Version control: Git
