About The Role

We are seeking a versatile and intellectually curious Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in building the core platform that powers our intelligent applications. As a Software Engineer at Azithropic, you will be responsible for translating innovative AI concepts into scalable and resilient service layers that orchestrate requests across various machine learning models. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely across India, with the role based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate is a proactive learner with a passion for the rapidly evolving AI landscape, a problem-solver who gets things done, and someone who envisions large-scale impact through their work.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a blend of technical expertise and a passion for AI/ML innovation. Core qualifications include:

• Exceptional ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and challenges, demonstrating versatility across the entire tech stack.
• Proven experience in backend development, particularly in building and scaling RESTful APIs using Python or similar modern languages such as Node.js.
• Proficiency in frontend development with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Svelte for creating user interfaces and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and S3 for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Experience or familiarity with ML research, publications, or industry applications is a plus, though not mandatory.
• Ability to implement and debug systems rapidly, with a genuine interest in ML research and innovation.
• Willingness to identify personal skill gaps and learn new technologies at a high pace to meet project demands.
  
  

Preferred qualifications include experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and a demonstrated interest in AI/ML research.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a high-performance REST API gateway that serves as the backbone for our AI services.
• Create intuitive user interfaces and dashboards for monitoring, configuration, and analytics of our AI platforms.
• Deploy, configure, and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and resilience.
• Implement robust authentication mechanisms, rate limiting, and request logging to ensure system security and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance platform performance and functionality.
• Take initiative in exploring new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve system architecture and development processes.
• Contribute to research efforts and stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML to incorporate innovative solutions into our platform.
