About The Role

Insourcehire is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join their team remotely from India. This is a pivotal role designed for an experienced professional who excels in managing complex data projects, developing insightful dashboards, and shaping data strategies. The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for overseeing Power BI dashboards, performing advanced data analysis, and collaborating with third-party providers responsible for dashboard maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and possess a deep understanding of data platforms, analytics, and visualization tools.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 to 8+ years of experience in data analytics or a related field. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development, is essential. Experience working with Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms is highly desirable. Candidates should have robust SQL skills and the ability to manipulate large and complex datasets effectively. A solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data integration is beneficial. Experience with Azure Data Services such as Data Factory and Synapse will be advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Power BI dashboards, including rebuilding existing dashboards if necessary, maintaining and optimizing current reports, troubleshooting issues, and enhancing performance and cost efficiency.
• Perform large-scale data manipulation and analysis utilizing Microsoft Fabric and related tools to generate actionable insights.
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support internal stakeholders and facilitate informed decision-making processes.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's data strategy by identifying gaps, opportunities, and providing strategic recommendations for improvements.
• Support scalable data practices to ensure long-term sustainability and efficiency of data operations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, effectively managing priorities and ensuring high-quality deliverables within deadlines.
• Collaborate with third-party providers managing dashboards, ensuring seamless communication and maintenance.
