Job Title: Integration Developer API/APIM

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and integration services
- Implement and manage APIs using an API Management (APIM) platform (e.g., Apigee, Gravitee, MuleSoft, Azure APIM, Boomi)
- Define API standards, governance, versioning, and lifecycle management
- Ensure API security using OAuth, JWT, certificates, and access policies
- Integrate enterprise systems such as Salesforce, ERP, data platforms, and third-party services
- Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize reliability
- Support event-driven and asynchronous integration patterns
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams on integration design
- Maintain documentation, best practices, and reusable integration assets
- Contribute to DevOps/CICD pipelines for automated deployment and testing
- Good to know– 1. Knowledge on Kafka stream and connect, or 2. Azure cloud service, or 3. Kubernetes
Your future duties and responsibilities
Design, develop, publish, and maintain API Proxies on Gravitee and Apigee.
- Understanding and implementation of Open API specifications and standards.
- Implement API security policies (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, threat protection).
- Creating scripts using API Management APIs.
- Housekeeping of APIM objects and Components.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Python scripting for deployment
automation.
- Automate API promotion across environments (dev, test, pre-prod, prod).
- Create and execute API testing strategies using Bruno and other testing tools.
- Monitor API performance, reliability, and usage through Splunk/Grafana
dashboards.
- Manage operational processes via Snow request management (ServiceNow) for
incidents, changes, and releases.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and operations teams to ensure
platform stability and delivery quality.
- Following the Agile delivery process.
- Communication with Business and stakeholders (API Producers) on regular basis.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Technical Skills
- Preferable to have Hands-on experience with API Management (SaaS) Platforms:
Gravitee and Apigee.
- Understanding of API Management API’s
- CI/CD & Automation : Python (pipeline scripting, automation), GitLab CI/CD.
- API Testing Tools: Bruno, Insomnia and API functional/regression/unit testing
practices.
- Service Management: Snow request management (ServiceNow) for request,
incident, and change handling.
- Monitoring & KPI Tools: Splunk, Grafana.
- Version Control: Git.
Good-to-Have:
- DevOps Tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform.
- Cloud & Containerization: Azure, Kubernetes.
Experience & Qualifications
- 4+ years in API development/integration, with hands-on experience on APIM SaaS
platform work.
- Proven delivery of automated CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.
- Experience working in enterprise environments with governance and change-control
processes.
- Good understanding of REST standards, API versioning, and backward compatibility.
- Good Communication with stakeholders and understanding of agile processes.
