Position Description
Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (17+) with good knowledge of Java 17/21 features.
Expertise in Spring Boot for building scalable and production-ready applications.
Experience with Spring ecosystem: Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
Hands-on experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of API Gateway, Service Discovery, and Load Balancing (e.g., Eureka, Zuul, or similar tools).
Experience with inter-service communication (REST, Kafka, messaging queues).
Understanding of resilience patterns (Circuit Breaker, Retry, Timeout – e.g., Resilience4j).
Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a plus.
Good knowledge of databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and performance tuning.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities (Relevant to This Stack)
Design and develop microservices-based backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
Build scalable and secure REST APIs and ensure smooth system integrations.
Implement service-to-service communication and manage distributed systems.
Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
Work closely with DevOps for containerization, deployment, and monitoring.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and best practice enforcement.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Minimum 8+ years of experience in Java backend development.
Strong expertise in Core Java (8+) and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
Proven experience in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Good understanding of databases (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
Prior experience in Banking / Financial Services (BFSI) domain is preferred.
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Full-time graduation is mandatory (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent).
