Description

Responsibilities :

Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions using MS SQL Server (SSMS).
Troubleshoot and migrate business logic from PL/SQL to T-SQL where necessary.
Perform query performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.
Design and maintain database objects ensuring data integrity and security.
Develop ETL workflows to support data integration and transformation needs.
Collaborate with Database Administrators, Analysts, and Operations teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Support process improvement and automation initiatives related to database development.
Understand relational data models and contribute to database design and documentation.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of professional experience as an SQL Developer or in data storage and management roles.
Strong proficiency with MS SQL Server platform and environment, including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
In-depth knowledge of SQL Tables, data types, stored procedures, views, functions, and T-SQL programming.
Ability to understand PL/SQL and translate/troubleshoot logic into T-SQL.
Experience in query performance tuning and optimization.
Exposure to ETL workflow development and data integration processes.
Familiarity with relational data models and database design tools is an advantage.
Experience with process improvement and automation in database development is a plus.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work cooperatively with various teams.
