Were seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET Core) with strong expertise in backend and front-end technologies, who is passionate about building robust, scalable, and high-performance applications.
Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end software solutions using .NET Core with a modern front-end technology and strong database integration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables, performance optimization, and seamless deployment of software products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and related frameworks.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end and third-party systems efficiently.
- Implement and optimize database solutions using MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Work with modern front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and any contemporary front-end framework (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js).
- Ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient code following object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and best practices.
- Utilize design patterns, multi-threading, and performance tuning to deliver high-quality, scalable software.
- Collaborate closely with architects, QA teams, and business analysts to translate requirements into functional technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, system architecture design, and continuous improvement of development practices.
- Work with version control tools such as Git, BitBucket, or SVN and contribute to CI/CD processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Key Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET / C# development.
- Proven experience with MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ, and Web API development.
- Strong front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery; experience with Angular or React is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including database design and query optimization.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with WCF, RESTful services, and WebSockets preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Node.js, TypeScript, or microservices architecture.
- Experience in developing applications for utility or government domains.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and DevOps pipelines.
